Prof. Mrs. Rosemond Aboagyewa Boohene is the Lead Consultant of Coastal Network Consortium and immediate past Head of Management Studies and Vice Dean of the School of Business, University of Cape Coast. She is a professor of entrepreneurship and a Management Consultant with more than fifteen? years (15) experience.? She holds a PhD in Entrepreneurship and Small Enterprise Development from the University of New England, Australia, PDipCom and MCom (Accounting) from the University of Otago, New Zealand,? BCom (Hons) and Dip. Ed. from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana and a Diploma in Small Enterprise Development, Galilee College, Israel.? She has presented papers at both local and international conferences and conducted a number of studies on women and entrepreneurship development. She was member of a team which conducted feasibility studies into the establishment and use of small citrus processing plants in the Central Region of Ghana for JICA. She has also supported in writing business and strategic plans for numerous firms and organizations.? Her most recent research work has been on small firms in Ghana with special emphasis on gender and factors that influence the performance of small manufacturing firms.? She has authored and co-authored books on management and entrepreneurship for Centre for Continuing Education, University of Cape Coast.? She is the project leader in a University of Cape Coast and University of Bonn-Rhein-Sieg cooperation on developing a business incubator where innovative ideas if students could be harnessed and grown into viable businesses.
At the post graduate level she handles courses in ; Entrepreneurship and New Venture Creation, Small Business Management, Marketing Management, International Marketing and Small Enterprise Development. Dr Boohene has also facilitated a number of capacity development programmes for selected district assemblies in the Central Region of Ghana and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Central and Western Region branches.
Mr. Prince Kwasi Annoh-Djan is a member of Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (MCIPS), UK and a versatile, results oriented, analytical, hardworking procurement and supply chain person with a can-do spirit. He is able to prescribe practical, cost effective, value-added yet comprehensive solutions to complex problems. He has successfully set up and managed the procurement section of Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL) with a support staff of 2. This included the designing and implementing procurement procedures, forms and procedures in conformity to Ghana’s Public Procurement Law. He has helped to codify all procurement procedures into a manual for use by the section. Provided advise on crucial public procurement issues to sections and departments of GACL. He has been an associate consultant and a team member of Coastal Network Consortium in offering training on public procurement law etc to the district, municipal and metropolitan assemblies in the central region and other organizations and institutions .
Dr. Edwin Amonoo holds a Doctorate in Economics and had had over thirty years experience as an economist, an entreprenuer and a development consultant.? He had served on many boards of co operations and Institutions in Ghana.? He had also facilitated many workshops on small and medium scale enterprises development, decision making and business problem solving, creativity and business opportunity identification, business planning ond microfinance. ??He has also conducted several research for Ghana and the Dutch governments.? He is at the moment in charge of strategic research unit of the Consortium.
Dr? Henry Fram Akplu holds a doctorate degree and had worked extensively as an entrepreneurship and small enterprise consultant, a technical and vocational education and analyst, training needs assessment consultant to many international organizations. He has led and facilitated many projects and capacity building programmes in business development and growth in Ghana, Rwanda and many other countries. His PhD background in vocational and entrepreneurship education also empowered him to research extensively into small business development, entrepreneurship and managing SMEs, Business Communication etc. He is also an entrepreneur with practical business couching skills. He has facilitated workshops on training needs assessment and report writing. He is a member of the Coastal Network Consortium in charge of progammes development, Critical and Strategic Thinking Unit.
Mr. Kwame Boohene is an information scientist and an Information and Communication Technology business consultant. He is the head of the Strategic Information Management Unit of Coastal Network consortium. He is an experienced information scientist who had worked at the University of Cape Coast library for eighteen years.? Boohene holds a bachelors degree in Biological Sciences, diploma in education and a postgraduate degree in Library Studies. He had had extensive training in Information and Communication technology. Kwame has taught the effective use of the Internet both as an academic and a business tool at the undergraduate level for over fourteen years.? His area of specialty is in the use of Information and Communication technology to market and also grow or improve small and medium enterprises.? He has also been handling Proposals Development and Investment management for well over ten years. ?He has also been involved in designing and implementing numerous capacity programmes for Municipal and district assemblies in the Central region.? He has been involved in the design of websites and software for many small businesses.
Mr. Daniel Agyepong holds an MPhil. in finance,? He has postgraduate diploma in Entrepreneurship and ILO Trainer of Trainers Certificate also in entrepreneurship. He has facilitated training programmes in? for many SMEs in the area of business development and management, business networking and financial management. He has also done many capacity building programmes in customer care marketing and strategic planning for SMEs in Ghana. ?He has served as an ILO consultant in capacity building programmes for business development for SMEs and also researched extensively into marketing strategies to manage organizational dysfunction and decline as well as business communication. He is in charge of managing the project implementation teams of Coastal Network Consortium.
Matthew Kwabena Adeyanju, Project Coordinator, handles all the administrative, business and project development services of the company as well as the financial matters. Matthew has over 15 years experience in providing services such as Training in advocacy, Business and Project management, Proposals Development, Business Mentoring and Coaching. Training and Business Development services. and has worked with several organizations, also a trainer in Information Communication Technology and business development.? He is in charge of Data Management and analysis, responsible for production of all reports. Keep financial records of all projects and ensures that all resources and training materials are made available.
Alex Allotey is a computer scientist whose areas of expertise include ICT systems architecture, analysis and design, disparate IT systems integration and Linux server design and deployment. In software development, his areas of expertise span PHP, C, C++, LISP, Assembly language, Perl, Python and database design. Alex is not only theoretically sound but also has a wealth of experience in the field of ICT. Amongst the several projects he has been involved in includes: the development of a business portal for petroleum companies, pharmaceutical companies, schools and tertiary institutions. He has been a great team member in the communications market, developing and implementing internet search and cataloguing system for multi-media distance learning programme.?? He is also very good with hybrid networking platforms.?? Alex is the Information and project team leader responsible for providing technical quality assurance for all the ICT projects.
